Thank you so much for taking the time to consider me for your teaching position. My experiences as a teacher, leader, administrator, and creator have given me a unique set of skills that I'd love to share with your students.

The 8th graders in my English class decided to use film as a means to engage with the nonfiction book, Chasing Lincoln's Killer by James L. Swanson. We did a 6-week unit where we talked about screenplay practices, wrote a full-length movie as a class, and then built a soundstage where we filmed 30 minutes of our final movie.
